Presentation of Poland's first technology for treating erectile dysfunction

A revolutionary technology that can help men with vascular erectile dysfunction has recently appeared on the market. on 8 February, a presentation of the first such technology in Poland took place at the Arcadia Clinic aesthetic medicine and cosmetology clinic in Krakow. The aim of the therapy is to restore natural sexual performance.

We held a meeting with our clients and experts where we presented a new treatment using shock wave technology. During the meeting, Dr Łukasz Wiewiórka, a cardiologist from the John Paul II Specialist Hospital in Kraków, talked about the problem of sexual dysfunction in men resulting from, among other things, cardiovascular disease, and methods of treatment. The problem of vascular impotence affects more than 50% of men struggling with erection problems. For this reason, they are looking for newer and more effective treatment methods that will allow them to return to a normal sex life.

How do you treat erectile dysfunction? Shockwave technology is an innovative solution to increase blood flow in the penile corpora cavernosa, resulting in improved erections. Unlike traditional treatments for erectile dysfunction, shockwave is safe, minimally invasive and effective.

The technology provides an answer to the problem caused by vascular lesions, which are responsible for more than half of the cases of the disorder in Poland. The device uses a low-energy focused acoustic wave and works on the principle of stimulating angiogenesis, i.e. an increase in penile blood supply, thanks to which, after a series of 6 treatments, we are able to obtain a satisfactory erection for a period of approximately two years, which will allow the patient to have sexual intercourse. –Olga Hornik ITP SA
